So a while back, I did a shoot for Nigerian Fashion Brand Nubian Diva and I was allowed to select three pieces to go home with. I’d already fallen in love with their designs but there was this one dress that REALLY caught my eye. Its versatility was a major attraction and when it comes to my clothing, I value versatility because this way, I don’t easily get bored with wearing the same thing, the same way all the time.

With the right accessories, this patterned beaded beauty can be rocked during a casual day out with friends, a night out partying or even a quiet dinner with your significant other… 😉

For me, this navy blue Ted Baker clutch and a pair of heels are the perfect combination for a dressier look.
Tszuj it up with a pair of golden chunky hoops and you’re good to go!

Oh and can we have a moment of silence for this beaded neckline! Love how the brown contrasts nicely against the pattern, and the vintage touch and richness this adds to the otherwise simple dress.

How I’d Rock It

For a casual look, I’d pair it with a pair of comfy black tights…

…or I’d add a bit of layering by cinching the waistline with a belt.

For the more conservative ones, add a pair of heels to this and you’re date night ready!

For me, ditching the tights, keeping the heels and adding my deep blue clutch would be an ideal dinner-date-with-bae look. This would also work for a fun night out with my girls.

This dress is a classic that’d always stand the test of fashion time 😉

Be sure to look out for the post where I show pictures from my Nubian Diva shoot. Until then, bisous!
