Hi beautés 👋🏽
So you know how it is, when there’s this one thing you regularly do – could be a head wrap, hairstyle, or even a makeup look – that you normally wouldn’t put too much thought to, but to others it’s like OMG how did you do this?! That was me a weekend or two ago.
I’d worn this low-sleek-bun-look to an Abuja event (the Food Expo), and quite unexpectedly, I got stopped with questions like ‘is that your real hair?’ ‘how did you get it all laid?’ ‘how did you sleek it back and achieve the waves?’ ‘what gel do you use?’ 😅
I’m naturally super keen to teach/show people how to do stuff, so it was all fun as I explained.
The evening of the same day, I posted a photo of the look on my IG, and boom..a couple more questions. I went ahead to do a poll, to see how many people would be interested in actually seeing a tutorial (30 + votes including – surprisingly – a handful of guys 🤷🏽♀️).
Yeah so here we are, a little over a week later, with a short tutorial showing the simple steps & tricks to achieving sleek wavy hair – with an emphasised hairline look – doable even on thick, full hair!
NOTE; This style is achievable on any hair type..3a to 4z!
