As a follow up to a past post, where I introduced the boohoo series and gave ‘the tea’ on a casual cold-shoulder khaki dress, I’ll be showing you guys the more playful; garden-party-ish pink frill dress.
Late last year, I was contacted by architect and photographer Olufunso Fasanya of Omoge Black Photography to be her muse for a photoshoot. The look and location was totally up to me, so I came up with a garden shoot concept and channelled the flower-child persona by accessorising with a flower crown from Lovisa SA, and emerald fringe earrings from Zara.
The shoot was done at my family home in Kaduna and there were up to six or seven different looks, which I’ll post up on my blog over time. I had so much fun while at it and working with Funso was an absolute delight!
More About The Dress
Worth the buy?
Definitely worth it. This dress exceeded my expectations because it turned out looking better than I’d anticipated. It’s also different from what I’d normally wear (I hardly own anything with frills in my closet ??♀️)…blush pink is SO in right now and the frills are super trendy!
I’m really into off-shoulders so that’s a plus, and I love how this dress was designed to quite easily accentuate the figure.
The zip…faaam! The first time I wore this dress, getting the zip up was a struggle and after several futile attempts, it popped ??♀️ so I had to get it replaced. Also, although this isn’t much of an issue for me as it might be for others, this dress is quite see-through from the thigh area down.
So that’s that for now guys! Kindly leave your thoughts or comments below..if any.
